The automatic desiccant filler fills two sides at a time. The cycle time for a 1mtr squared 16mm spacer frame is approximately 18 seconds and approximately 21 seconds for 20mm frame. Please note that the fill rate is dependent upon the internal dimensions of the spacer and the bead size of the desiccant.
As standard, the machine comes with a 40kg hopper in the machinery base for containing the desiccant. On request, 200ltr drums are also available.
Features:
• The desiccant is pressure injected, and the machine's control system assures the perfect filling.
• The machine also drills the holes in the spacer bar before injecting the desiccant.
• After injecting the desiccant, the loading holes are automatically closed with butyl.
• When filling larger size spacers, the pneumatic powered working head raises automatically to reach the desired position.
• The machine includes a desiccant presence control to detect the desiccant level. Once the desiccant is finished, the work cycle is stopped to allow the worker to load new material. After new material is loaded the machine will restart.
• The machine can fill both aluminium and warm edge spacer without the user needing to make any changes.
• Installed power: 2.5kw
• The pneumatic requirements of the machine are: 3/4" gas - 6 BAR.
