Our business is the largest specialist IG component manufacturer and distributor in the UK supplying over 2,500 components and a wide range of Thermoseal Group Equipment (TGE) for manufacturing IG sealed units (IG sealed units are sometimes referred to as ‘Dual Pane Glass’ – double glazing, triple glazing or quadruple glazing).
The core products we manufacture in-house are Thermobar and Thermoflex Warm Edge Spacers including bespoke injection moulded fittings. These are two of the highest performance warm edge spacers currently available in the world - achieving a Passive House phA+ component rating for Arctic Climates and are highest rated for hygiene.
Our products are exported worldwide, so whether you're an IG sealed unit manufacturer, a window fabricator or a double glazing installer in any location, we are the one-stop-shop for all levels of IG sealed unit manufacture.
We also manufacture the DecraLed® self-adhesive lead strip, Decra Fused Tiles, Decra Bevels and Decraglow colour films for application and decoration of glass in single and double glazing. Our British products are the highest performance, preferred by manufacturers and highly competitive in the worldwide market.
Originally founded in 1979, the business has seen substantial growth over the years and operates from 4 rapidly-expanding sites in Birmingham, Wigan, Kent and Belfast. Thermoseal Group is entirely privately-funded and growth is through re-invested profit. We have our own distribution network of warehouses, vehicles and drivers to deliver components in the UK and our expanding export operations are carried out directly from our main manufacturing site in Wigan. We now deliver to 40 countries within Asia; Oceania; Europe; North America and South America.
We are also active members of the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) and the Bundesverband Flachglas (BF) working for the IG industry.
